For attendees wishing to overnight at The Union League Club, there are a limited number of rooms available at a special rate. Please use the following name, The Rail Summit, when calling 1-800-443-0578 for reservations at the Union League Club. The Union League Club has an illustrious relationship with the railroad sector dating back to 1897. In addition to countless meetings, seminars, and conferences, railroads have been featured in the club’s house publication since 1934. During the war years, there were more than a few articles on the vital importance railroads played in the war effort. On October 20, 1944, Charles M. Howe dedicated the bell from steam locomotive #145 to the club. The name of every past Chairman of the Railway Supply Committee is inscribed on a brass plaque. The bell is located on the fourth floor of the club.

We are proud to have The Rail Summit 2013 at the Union League Club of Chicago.
